Our Facebook Page is a place where bright minds and passionate people come together to shape our futures. We’re proud of our culture and we genuinely care for our members and staff, so we have a few rules to protect everyone as we connect and share our collective know-how.

Our three simple rules are:
1. Be Respectful
We’re inclusive. Our online community is broad and diverse, with some of the country’s best and brightest in our midst, so you’ll come across people who think differently. And while you won’t always agree, we insist on civil, respectful debate and discussion. We won’t accept cruelty, harassment or abuse of any person - ever.

2. Be Safe
Our Page is a safe place for people to be themselves and to do their jobs without fear of abuse or harassment. If you believe someone is disregarding our House Rules and violating Facebook’s Terms of Service, please report the posts, or contact us by Private Message.

Interacting safely is taking ownership for what you post and how you interact with other people.

Remember Facebook is a public space, so never share your personal details, including your address, phone number, payment details or login credentials, on this Page.

3. Help us improve
We’re always striving to do better and be better. Your ideas and constructive criticism about UniSuper are always welcome. We’re listening and learning, and acting in our members best interests, every day. So, we’ll talk to you about your feedback and share what we’re doing, so we can keep improving – together.

We’re here to engage with you, and while we love healthy debate, we do moderate this Page.

Your comment or post may be taken down if it:
• Is defamatory, indecent, offensive, discriminatory, misleading, off-topic, unlawful, threatening or contains swearing
• Breaches the privacy of yourself, a UniSuper staff member or another person (including photos and videos)
• Is a promotional post, contains advertising or links to third party websites
• Includes personal attacks, name-calling, trolling or spam-like behaviour
• Is part of a coordinated group attack on the UniSuper brand, one of our executives or staff members.

Any Facebook user who fails to follow our House Rules may be banned and their comments deleted at our discretion. Moderation decisions are final and questions about these decisions will not be responded to.

Employees participating in discussions on our Facebook Page are reminded of their obligations under UniSuper’s Employee Social Media Policy which can be found on the intranet.

Thank you and welcome to the community!
