[STUDIO LAB: Style-tech startup, leading innovative digital transformation in the business of fashion.] [History] STUDIO LAB started out as ‘Scan and Dive’, an in-house venture (C-LAB Inside) team of Samsung Electronics. After developing and patenting a textile material classification/analysis solution using machine vision, “Scan and Dive” participated in CES 2021 as an​ in-house venture model case of Samsung Electronics. In May 2021, the Scan and Dive team became an independent company, ‘STUDIO LAB’, after receiving seed investment from Samsung Venture Investment. [Products] Studio Lab is currently developing three products. 1. Seller Canvas: AI Solution for Commerce Content Creation 2. Photobot: Photo robot that automatically shoots products and clothing photos 3. DeepScan: Waste clothing classification solution powered by Vision AI [People] STUDIO LAB’s founders have extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, such as product planning, global B2B sales, marketing, and promotion of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. They also have a high understanding of the startup ecosystem, thanks to 4 years of experience regarding startup investment, cooperation, and acquisition from their time at Samsung Electronics.
