Silatronix produces patented Organosilicon (OS) materials that enable extreme performance in Li-ion batteries. New electrode designs, for example, high-nickel & Si-anode, require improved electrolyte stability. Our OS materials provide just that - ultra-high energy density stabilization in LiPF6-based electrolyte, without the need for exotic or high-cost salts & solvents.

In addition, Silatronix offers our unique FUSION: Advanced Material Development as a Service. FUSION uniquely combines rigorous empirical studies with fundamental science in a way that provides deep mechanistic insight. It is a rapid & cost-effective approach for material development - and our OS compounds are a product of this process.

Silatronix was founded in 2007 by Robert West and Robert Hamers, both of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Winslow Sargeant of Venture Investors, LLC.
