Each of Wayfinder’s three signature toolkits have been thoughtfully incubated through the design thinking process of the Stanford d. school K-12 lab. The content draws upon purpose development research, thousands of empathy interviews with students, teachers and other "purpose exemplars," and practices from nature-based Wayfinding traditions.
Originally offered exclusively as printed booklets, as of Summer 2020 all Wayfinder’s paper toolkits are fully digitized and available on the new Wayfinder app to help our schools navigate distance learning in the Covid era. Whether you find yourself in a virtual classroom, brick and mortar or moving between both, we custom design the program to allow our teachers and students to journey seamlessly through the Wayfinder experience, online or off.
