"Transforming Nuclear Technology to better our World"
Phoenix has developed a very high yield neutron generator technology with applications in medicine, defense and energy. Our team of over 30 scientists and engineers are dedicated to pushing boundaries in nuclear and particle accelerator technologies to solve some of the most challenging problems facing humanity.
Through the development of our proprietary gas target neutron generator technology, we have developed expertise in designing and building a number of different particle accelerator-related technologies including:
• Gas and solid target neutron generators (> 3x10¹¹ DD n/s)
• High current (>100 mA), high voltage (up to 300 kV) electrostatic accelerators
• High current (>100 mA) microwave (ECR) ion sources
• Magnetic and electrostatic ion beam focus elements
• High voltage power supplies
These technologies are being deployed by several major companies as well as by the Department of Defense and the Department of Energy with applications in:
• Medical radioisotope production
• Neutron radiography
• Explosives detection
• Semiconductor processing
• Special nuclear material detection
• Nuclear fusion energy
Phoenix strives to produce excellent hardware to solve exceptionally challenging technical problems in a way that positively impacts humanity.
