Lingrove® was formed after several years of research and development by founding partners Entropy Resins and Blackbird. The goal was to create advanced composite structures with ultra-lightweight materials which resulted in a line of Ekoa® natural prepregs. Upon a first glance, Ekoa® is evocative of premium wood with its long linen fibers embedded in an elegant translucent red bioresin. This new class of bio-composites share the exceptional mechanical characteristics of high performance composite reinforcements while offering significant advantages including: damping properties, ultra lightweight, worker-friendly, processability and a low carbon footprint. Lingrove’s mission is to manufacture no-compromise biobased solutions as well as support applications which benefit from the use of these composites.
