By leveraging satellite data with ground measurement (IoT) data, we have built one of the largest data aggregation and analytics platforms to provide high-resolution, high-frequency, and near-real-time information on key environmental indicators in air, water, and land.
For instance, when you search "Facebook Stock" on Google, you get an iframe with all sort of details, and if you went on the Bloomberg terminal, you will get abundant, unrivaled deep analytics. Try doing the same for "Air quality in Hyderabad" or "Water Quality in HSR Lake" and you will have to sift through 5 websites, 10 pdf reports to get some relevant information. Our vision is to build Bloomberg for Environmental indicators to enable informed decisions & actions through fast, accessible, and relevant information and analytics.
To start with our focus is on air pollution, and will provide historical as well as real-time data on air quality with a 1km2 pixel resolution (in 2019) and air pollution emissions data from sources such as power plants, industrial facilities, crop residue burning from farm locations, etc (in 2020).
